Casambi Room Beta is now available

Room by Room. Installer Approved.

First introduced at Light + Building in Frankfurt in March 2026, Casambi Room is now available in beta.

Casambi Room is a lighting control commissioning app designed for electricians and electrical contractors commissioning lighting room by room, from individual rooms to multi-room installations.

With a focused feature set, Casambi Room provides a fast and straightforward way to set up, configure and commission Casambi lighting control without requiring specialist expertise in lighting control or prior Casambi experience.

Lighting control commissioning made simpler

Casambi Room focuses on the essential functionality installers need for room-by-room commissioning.

With Casambi Room Beta, you can:

Quickly and easily pair luminaires, sensors and switches
Configure lighting behaviour and automation, or use predefined scenes
Manage multiple rooms within the same project
Manage all your projects in one app

The workflow is designed around the way electricians work on site, making everyday commissioning fast, intuitive and easy to complete.

Typical applications include meeting rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, private offices and similar spaces, from a single room to installations with multiple rooms within the same project.

Focused by design

Casambi Room is designed for a distinct, more focused commissioning use case alongside Casambi App and Casambi Pro.

Casambi Room has a more focused feature set than Casambi App, concentrating on the essential functionality needed for straightforward room-by-room commissioning.

Casambi App provides broader configuration and control capabilities, while Casambi Pro is designed for projects where floorplans, templates, repetitive functionality, off-site pre-configuration and scalable project workflows become important.
