EXVI Suites – LYN
Location: Soho Rodeo Drive, Jakarta, Indonesia
Nominated by: GlowControl
Interior & Architect : ART’A Architect
Lighting Designer : Lumoste
Lighting & CASAMBI Supplier : Gravitie Lighting
CASAMBI commissioning : Yos & Kiki from Gravitie Lighting, Rezah from GlowControl
CASAMBI distributor : GlowControl
This restaurant and lounge project adopted Casambi for its simplicity, wireless installation, and possibility for remote commissioning. The system integrates RGB lighting and links to the venue’s internal Android app via a Lithernet Gateway and web API, allowing staff to trigger scenes with ease. Casambi’s flexibility enabled DMX, DALI, relay, and API controls to coexist in one ecosystem while keeping installation fast and cost-efficient – crucial for a hospitality project where ROI and minimal downtime are key.
Delivered level by level, the solution demonstrates Casambi’s scalability, bringing dynamic mood lighting, energy savings, and a future-proof platform that enhances both guest experience and operational efficiency.
The lighting design takes inspiration from the dual personality of a skylounge – warm and inviting at dusk, dramatic and vibrant at night. 2200K linear lights create a soft golden glow that frames the architecture, while 2700K spotlights highlight key areas and textures. RGB accents add energy, allowing the venue to shift from relaxed dining to a lively club atmosphere with dynamic scenes.
Award-worthy because: This project makes you feel like you’re in outer space, showing how perfectly integrated lighting can transport guests into another world.

Home House Private Members’ Club
Location: London, England
Nominated by:Minlec
Lighting Designer: Victoria Jerram
Casambi Specialist: Minlec
Chandelier specialists: Madson Black
Interior Designer: Russell Sage
For the refurbishment of one of London’s oldest private members’ clubs, the challenge was to bring modern lighting control to Grade I listed interiors without disturbing the heritage fabric. With original MICC wiring still in place and walls that could not be opened, flexibility had to come wirelessly.
Working with Minlec, the design team mapped existing circuits and tested Casambi signal strength through solid masonry. Strategic placement of devices, including a CBU-TED at the distribution board, ensured full coverage across thick walls and historic rooms.
The upgrade transformed the club’s atmosphere: chandeliers now dim gracefully, bespoke joinery glows with warmth, and even antique table lamps respond to wireless control. Scenes were fine-tuned for every time of day, shifting seamlessly from bright breakfast light to intimate evening ambience — all without touching the original infrastructure.
Award-worthy because: It proves that even the most historic buildings can embrace smart lighting — elegantly, invisibly, and without compromise.
